Welcome to The Clock House, Canterbury

This beautiful two bedroomed oak barn has been beautifully restored keeping all the character and opulence but with a modern, fashionable twist.

 

Inside The Clock House, you will find a large, light, bright and spacious open plan living space with French doors leading to an enclosed garden area, perfect for young children and the family pet.

 

This gorgeous converted barn has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and icebox, microwave, kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils.

 

Sleeping arrangements are 1 x 5ft King-size bed on the ground floor and 2 full single beds upstairs.

 

The Clock House may accommodate 6 using the double sofa bed with the prior arrangement with the owner.

 

The bathroom offers a rainfall shower, basin and toilet, toiletries supplied

 

Towels and bed linen are provided.

local area

Nature lovers will thoroughly enjoy a stay at The Clock House. It is just minutes from the pretty Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve which is a unique area of wetland with marshes, reed beds, lakes and woodlands that is home to a rich variety of wildlife, especially water birds.  It also has over 6 kilometres of footpaths, including a circular walk around the whole site, with two super pubs on route to stop for refreshments, The Red Lion and Grove Ferry Inn.

 

This is also a great base for touring this exciting part of East Kent.  Canterbury is a short drive away, and the lovely traditional coastal towns of Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Deal are also close at hand You’ll be so spoilt for choice, you’ll want to stay for longer!

Excellent cycling territory.  Bike hire available locally.  Canoe and kayaking hire available 5 mins drive away.
